GeekVape Aegis Solo 5 — New 100W Single-Battery Kit

Has anyone here tried the GeekVape Aegis Solo 5 Vape Mod Kit yet? I’ve always liked the Aegis series for its rugged design, but I’m more interested in the Solo 5 because it keeps the setup relatively compact while still offering up to 100W of power.

The Geekvape Aegis Solo 5 is a single-battery mod that can use a 21700 battery, with an adapter for 18650 cells. It also comes with the Z Subohm 5 Tank, which has a 5.5ml capacity, adjustable top airflow, and compatibility with Geekvape Z Series coils.

I think the single-battery design is probably the main reason I’d consider this over a larger dual-battery mod. You still get enough power for a proper DL setup, but the overall kit should be easier to carry around.

The Z Subohm 5 is another part that caught my attention. The 0.2Ω and 0.4Ω Z-series coils cover different power ranges, so there should be some room to adjust the balance between vapor production and battery life.

The Aegis line is also known for its rugged construction, and the Solo 5 carries an IP68 rating for water, dust, and shock resistance. That could be useful if you want a mod that can handle more demanding everyday use.

For anyone comparing vape devices online, I’m curious how the Solo 5 feels compared with the previous Aegis Solo models. Is the 21700 battery enough for your typical day, and how do you like the Z Subohm 5 compared with other Geekvape tanks?
